
ANDERSON COUNTY —Authorities are investigating the cause of a small plane crash that occurred just before 3p.m. Wednesday in Anderson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1966 Beech single engine fixed wing aircraft piloted by James Earl Robinson, 75, Cotuit, Massachusetts was attempting to land on runway 1 of Garnett Municipal Airport.
Upon landing, the aircraft rolled over the end of the landing strip into a ditch.
Robinson and a passenger Becky L. Robinson, 75, Cotuit, Massachusetts, were not injured. The NTSB is in charge of the investigation.
