KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just before 1a.m. Thursday, patrol officers responded to report of a shooting in the 400 block of Wallace, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
As officers arrived they were directed to the backyard of a residence on Wallace. There officers located a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officers immediately began performing live saving measures and ordered EMS to the scene. KCFD Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased.
While on scene an additional male victim arrived at a local hospital by a private vehicle. He has injuries from a gunshot wound that is considered non-life threatening.
This is being investigated as a homicide and no one is in custody at this point. Preliminary information revealed there was an altercation between multiple people before shots were fired and the victims were struck.
