Longtime KJCK Radio broadcasters Jerry Brecheisen and Dewey Terrill have been presented with the 2020 Geary County Extension Council Appreciation Award.
Brecheisen' s tenure with the radio station dates back to 1979 and Terrill's to 1980. Over the years the two broadcasters have covered numerous Extension events ranging from fairs to meetings, have ennabled the Extension staff to air programs, and have provided announcements about activities that are scheduled to occur.
The award was presented during the annual Extension Council meeting at the 4-H / Senior Citizen Center Thursday evening.
