Work begins Monday on the 2020 CCLIP Street Maintenance Program

Beginning Monday traffic at the intersection of 18th & Jackson Streets will be inconvenienced during Phase One of road improvements. A contractor will be doing concrete restoration and motorists will need to follow the posted work zone signs and pay attention to construction traffic.

Junction City Public Works issued a release that said affected work areas will include the 1800 block of North Jackson Street and the 100 block of West 18th to the 400 block of West 18th Street.

Access to all businesses within the affected areas will be provided.

The work involved will consist of removal of old concrete paving of an existing roadway, and replacing it with new concrete paving. Portions of sidewalk ramps will also be removed and new handicap ramps will be installed.
