
JACKSON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man on multiple charges after a weekend traffic stop.
Just after 3a.m. Sunday, a sheriff's deputy stopped a vehicle near 150th and W. Road in eastern Jackson County for a traffic infraction, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
The investigation into the stop led to the arrest of the driver, Roberto Alejandro Reynosa-Silva, 27, of Topeka, on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, of drug paraphernalia, possession of a stolen firearm and interference with law enforcement.
A quantity of a substance believed to be methamphetamine and two guns were located in the vehicle, one of which had been reported stolen from Lawrence.
