Police accuse two Kan. women of ID theft, drug possession

SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects on drug charges after the Topeka Police Department Narcotics Unit and Shawnee County Drug Task Force served a search warrants in the 1300 Block NW Van Buren, according to Lt. Ronnie Connell

While conducting the search warrant, officers located methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

As a result, officers arrested 37-year-old Rolanda Shopteese and 42-year-old Crystal Wakolee both of Topeka.  They were transported to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections.

Crystal Wakolee is jailed on requested charges of Distribute controlled substance, Use/possess w/intent to use drug paraphernaliam Making False Information, Forgery, Theft by deception, Perjury and Identity theft.

Rolanda Shopteese is being held on on requested charges of Distribution of opiate/opium/narc, Possession of drug paraphernalia with intent of distribution and Possession of marijuana
