Kan. sheriff's K9 unit assists in arrest during traffic stop

SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man on multiple charges after a traffic stop.

Just before 10p.m. January 6, a deputy sheriff conducted a traffic stop on a silver Dodge Dakota in the 2600 block of NW Rochester Road, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.

During the investigation, a K9 unit was deployed and narcotics were located inside the vehicle. 

The deputy arrested Mark A. Anguish, 61, of Topeka was booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended, no insurance and expired tag.
