
KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just after 1a.m. Sunday, police were dispatched to the area of 63rd and Manchester on a reported sound of shots, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
While in route officers received updated information of a vehicle accident in the area of 63rd and Beacon. As officers arrived to 63rd and Beacon they located a vehicle off the roadway. Inside they discovered a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
KCFD EMS arrived simultaneously and began performing life saving measures. Medics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Police have not released the name of the victim or reported details on a suspect.
This is the third homicide over the past ten days where Kansas City police found a homicide victim in a vehicle. The other incidents occurred at 27th and Troost and 55th and Prospect.
