TOPEKA —Following the Kansas Emergency Continuity of Operations Plan, Kansas Governor Laura received her first dose of COVID-19 vaccine Wednesday afternoon at the Eisenhower Center, Nickell Armory.

The governor said she wanted to assure Kansans that the process was quick and easy.

&nbsp;"I have complete confidence in the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine. I urge everyone, when it’s your turn, get yourself vaccinated.&nbsp;
