Gov. Kelly receives first dose of COVID-19 vaccine

TOPEKA —Following the Kansas Emergency Continuity of Operations Plan, Kansas Governor Laura received her first dose of COVID-19 vaccine Wednesday afternoon at the Eisenhower Center, Nickell Armory.

The governor said she wanted to assure Kansans that the process was quick and easy.

 "I have complete confidence in the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine. I urge everyone, when it’s your turn, get yourself vaccinated.
