KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating&nbsp; a Sunday morning homicides in Kansas City, Missouri.

Just before 1:30 AM, officers were dispatched to the 7900 block of Wornall on a medical nature unknown call, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.

As officers arrived they were directed to the parking lot of a convenience store where they located a woman, later identified as 21-year-old&nbsp;Lavetta Doolin, suffering from a gunshot wound. KCFD EMS arrived simultaneously and began life saving measures. She was pronounced deceased on scene.&nbsp;

This is being investigated as a homicide and no one is in custody at this point. Detectives are working to determine what led up to shots being fired.&nbsp;
