SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a burglary have made an arrest.
Just before 7:30 a.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to a burglary in progress at a home in the 700 Block NE Chester in Topeka, according to police Lt. Jerry Monasmith.
Officers quickly responded to the area and located the suspect and vehicle, taking them into custody without incident.
As a result of the investigation, Allison Brese, 28, Topeka, was transported to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of Burglary and Theft
