Police capture two suspects during Kansas business burglary

SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a burglary and have two suspects in custody.

Just before 6a.m. Sunday, police were called by the victim to a business at 400 SE 29th in Topeka, according to Sgt. Kristen Marr.

When officers arrived they observed two persons inside the fenced area of the business. Officer were able to take 36-year-old Damon D. Hill, Jr. and  30-year-old Cameron A. Hill into custody, without incident.

Both are being held in the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of burglary, theft and criminal damage. Damon Hill, Jr. is also being held on a requested charge of possession of stolen property.
