Traffic stop ruins weekend trip for 3 Kansas women

JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating three women on multiple allegations after a weekend traffic stop.

Just after 6p.m.  August 24, a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Ford F-150 pickup for a traffic infraction on U.S. Highway 75 near 118th Road in southern Jackson County, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

Ashley Pauline Whitetail, 39 and Annie Rose Potts, 41, both of Mayetta, were arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on a requested charge of interference with law enforcement and transporting an open container.

Brenda Leigh Hinostroza, 39, of Berryton, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a depressant, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal use of weapons, transporting an open container and knowing allow uninsured vehicle on the roadway.
