SEDGWICK COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 8:30p.m. Friday in Sedgwick County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Kia Forte driven by Shereese D. Brown, 25, Kansas City, Mo., was south bound on Interstate 35&nbsp;near MacArthur.

The car struck a pedestrian identified as 25-year-old Domonic Andrew Gibson who entered the roadway.

Gibson was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the Kia were not injured and properly restrained, according to the KHP.&nbsp; The KHP report only said Gibson was from Kansas.
