SALINE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 5p.m. Sunday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Mazda 8300 pickup driven by Jason Kramer, 50, Kanopolis, was eastbound on Kansas 140 just east of Reese Road.
The driver lost control due to a flat tire. The pickup entered the north ditch, rolled and both occupants were ejected.
A passenger in the pickup Lori A. Wilkett, 53, Panama, Oklahoma, was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Roselawn Mortuary. EMS transported Kramer to Salina Regional Medical Center. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
