Blue Jay tennis competes in Topeka

 The Blue Jay tennis team traveled to Topeka for the Highland Park Quadrangular on Monday.  The teams competing in the quadrangular besides Junction City were Topeka West, Highland Park and Desoto. 

For the Blue Jays, Hayden Diestelkamp and Thomas Norris combined to go 6-0 in singles play on the day with each winning all three of their matches.  In the top doubles spot, Nate Green and Alex Matthews went 1-2 on the day, defeating Topeka West in their first match.  Nick Beier and Andre Portillo competed at the #2 doubles spot going 0-3 on the day. 

The Blue Jay tennis team will next compete in the Olathe Northwest Quadrangular this Thursday, April 8.  Matches will be held at the College Boulevard Activity Center and begin at 3 pm.
