SEDGWICK COUNTY —Wichita police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting that left a woman dead.
Just before 9:30p.m., police responded to report of a walk-in shooting victim at local hospital, according to Police Captain Aaron Moses. Jadidiah Ponce, 21, arrived had arrived with a gunshot wound at the hospital and died of her injuries, according to Moses.
"The shooting appears to be a case of targeted violence between two different groups of people. We know there are additional witnesses who have not provided a statement or cooperated with the investigation," Moses said.
