
FRANKLIN COUNTY—Law enforcement officers in Franklin County Kansas had an interesting traffic stop.
On May 5, deputies were notified of a possible intoxicated driver traveling northbound on Interstate 35, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's office.
A deputy located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on a driver wearing a beer can costume.
The driver was eventually placed under arrest on a requested charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and transported to the Franklin County Jail. The sheriff's office released no additional details.
