SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a fatal shooting have identified the victim as&nbsp; Shakeita Young, 32, of Topeka.

Just after 5 a.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to the 1800 block of NE Burgess Court in Topeka in reference to a shooting, according to Lt. Shane Hilton.

First responders found Young suffering from a gunshot. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police released no additional details Sunday afternoon.
