FORD COUNTY—In addition to the rain, Sunday's summer storm brought funnel clouds, land spouts,  hail and damaging winds to many areas of Kansas.

The National Weather Service reported wind gusts of 80 miles per hour in Dodge City and Great Bend and over 70 miles per hour in Ness City and in Kingman County.

The wind downed trees and power poles south of Dodge City and in Reno County and caused considerable damage around Great Bend.

Wind gusts of 50 and over 60 miles were reported across many areas of southwest and central Kansas. There are no reports of injury.
