Drug Task Force arrests Kan. brothers following 3 week investigation

DICKINSON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating two brothers on multiple requested drug charges following a three-week investigation.

On June 26, the Dickinson County Sheriff's Department Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), with the assistance of sheriff's deputies and Kansas Highway Patrol troopers executed a search warrant in the 200 block of East Sixth Street in Solomon, according to Dickinson County Sheriff Gareth Hoffman.

Deputies arrested Ethan Swarts, 18, and Alec Swarts, 23, and recovered marijuana, drug paraphernalia, ammunition, and a firearm.

Ethan Swarts was jailed on requested charges of Possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school Felony possession of drug paraphernalia No drug tax stamp, Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and Criminal use of weapons, according to Hoffman.
