JUNCTION CITY, Kan. — The Junction City Lady Jay softball team went winless in their matchups with Topeka West on Friday. In game one, the Lady Jays fell 13-4, while in game two, play was suspended due to weather in the 5th inning tied 5-5.

In the first game, Junction City was tied 4-4 in the fifth inning before an explosion of offense from Topeka West plated nine runs in the final two innings.

The second game was a back to back affair that was shortened by weather. Tied at five in the fifth inning, play was suspended and it is yet to be determined if the game will be made up or completed in the future.
