Appointments are made to the Kansas Sentencing Commission

The Kansas Supreme Court has reappointed 8th Judicial District Judge Benjamin Sexton to the Kansas Sentencing Commission. 

The Legislature established the commission to evaluate sentencing guidelines and advise and recommend changes to the secretary of corrections and legislators.

Other members of the commission who were reappointed include 5th Judicial District Judge W. Lee Fowler, Court of Appeals Judge Stephen Hill and Court Services Specialist in the Kansas judicial branch Office of Judicial Administration.
