Sheriff: Deputies find LSD during Kansas traffic stop

BARTON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man on numerous drug charges after a late-night traffic stop.

Just before 4a.m. Thursday, a sheriff's deputy stopped a 2013 Chrysler 200 in the 5600 block of W. 10th Street in Great Bend for speeding, according to sheriff Brian Bellendir.

During the course of the traffic stop, deputies determined the driver later identified as Andrew Decoudres age 32 of Larned, was driving under the influence of alcohol/or drugs.

Deputies also located what is believed to be LSD, a substantial amount of methamphetamine and prescription drugs as well as paraphernalia during the course of the investigation.

Deputies arrested Decoudres and booked him on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possessions of a hallucinogenic substance with intent to distribute, possession of prescription drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia as well as interference with law enforcement officer and DUI as well as various other traffic charges. He is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond, according to Bellendir.
