The National Weather Service has put a wind advisory into effect from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday for Geary, Dickinson and Morris counties.
For the Wind Advisory, southwest winds 20 to 30 mph are forecast with gusts up to 45 mph expected. *
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.
