SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting that injured a man at a Kansas home and searching for a suspect.
Just after 9 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a shooting call at a home in the 1700 block of N. Spruce in Wichita, according to Officer Chad Ditch.
Upon arrival, officers located a 65-year-old victim. EMS transported him to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation revealed, a disturbance occurred between the victim and a known suspect when the suspect fired a shot at the victim and struck him.
