JCHS Athletic Director Matt Westerhaus said that the Emporia at Junction City basketball games starting times on Thursday have been moved up. The girls varsity game will tip off at 5:30 p.m. and the boys contest will follow at approximately 7 p.m. in the Shenk Gym.
In the Fiffe Gym the JV boys will play at 5:30 p.m. and the C team girls at approximately 7 p.m.
On Friday night the Fiffe Gym will not be used. In the Shenk Gym the JV boys will play at 4:30 p.m., the varsity girls at approximately 6 p.m. and the varsity boy at approximately 7:30 p.m. The Homecoming Coronation and Senior basketball team recognition will be held between the varsity games. The Senior Night recognition for other sports will be held at halftime of the varsity boys game.
