RAWLINS COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged cattle theft in northwest Kansas.
A member of the Kansas Livestock Associated reported 17-head of 200-350 pound calves were stolen in mid July ten miles northeast of Atwood, according to a media release from the sheriff's office. The calves are carry fresh brands of V arrow high on the right hip.
The Kansas Livestock Association is offering a $5000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
