KANSAS CITY —A bicyclist involved in a crash on May 24 died of his injuries.
Early Friday an electric bicycle ridden by a man crashed on the Rock Island Trail in the area of 9611 East 53rd Street, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
A man out on his morning run found the rider on the concrete trail. The exact time of the crash is unknown. EMS transported the injured man to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.
The man was pronounced dead just before 10:30p.m. Friday, according to Becchina. Police have not released his name.
