
WICHITA, KAN. – A Kansas man has been sentenced for a shooting death in west Wichita.
District Judge Dave Dahl sentenced Tanner Mora, 27 of Wichita, to life with parole eligibility after 25 years, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.
A jury convicted Mora of felony 1st degree murder during the commission of aggravated robbery which occurred during the sale of marijuana.
In February 2019, police found the body of Lorenzo Wade, 22 of Wichita, in the parking lot of Genesis Health Club in the 3700 block of West 13th Street. He had multiple gunshot wounds. A bag of marijuana was found next to the body.

Police later arrested Mora and Ashantis Bledsoe, 21, Wichita. He is awaiting trial. Mora and his girlfriend moved to Wichita from Arkansas City a month before the shooting.
