RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged theft by deception in Manhattan.
Just after 6:30p.m. Tuesday, police filed a report for theft by deception in the 1600 block of Leavenworth Street, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 20-year-old man reported an unknown suspect made a transaction with fake money. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $780.00.
Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
