Manhattan—Officials are working to determine the cause of a fire in Manhattan.

Just after 8 p.m. Saturday, firefighters were dispatched to an apartment building fire at 1200 Yuma Street in Manhattan, according to Deputy Chief Ryan Almes.

Upon arrival, crews found a two-story apartment building with smoke showing from the second floor.

The building  was searched, found to be clear of occupants, and the fire was contained within 10 minutes.

The building is a two-story apartment building containing three units.  One unit was affected by the fire and the occupants of that unit were not at home when firefighters arrived. Loss is estimated as $15,000 to the structure and $2500 for contents, according to Almes.  The owners are listed as Keith and Shirley Vogts of Manhattan. No injuries were reported.
