Kan. twins arrested after Drug Task Force investigation

SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating three suspects following the completion of a search warrant in Shawnee County.

On Sept. 3, the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Task Force, consisting of the Topeka Police Department Narcotics Unit and Rossville Police Department, served a narcotic search warrant in the 3300 block of SE Girard Street, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.

Officers located three individuals and initially detained them for the investigation.

Following the discovery of narcotics and firearms, officers  arrested William C. O’Handlen, 51; Stella M. Hillis, 46, of  Walter U. O’Handlen, 51, all of Topeka were arrested and booked them into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections.

William O’Handlen was booked on requested charged that include possession of methamphetamine, criminal use of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hillis and Walter O’Handlen were both booked on requested charged of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
