Police ID man who died in shooting at Kansas City home

KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a shooting in the 10700 block of Newton in Kansas City have identified the victim as 27-year-old Tyler Wallace, according to Police Captain Leslie Foreman. 

Just after 4 a.m. December 10, police responded to a shooting the area of 107th and Newton. When they arrived they were directed toward a residence where they found a Wallace who had been shot and was unresponsive. When EMS arrived on the scene they pronounced him dead.

Police have not released suspect details or reported an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call the KCPD Homicide Unit at 234-5043. If you wish to remain anonymous you can call the TIPS hotline at 474-TIPS, with up to a $25,000 reward for an arrest in this case.
