Sheriff: Kan. deputies find heroin, meth during traffic stop

JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop.

Just before 1 a.m. Saturday, a sheriff's deputy stopped a 2007 Chrysler Aspen for a traffic infraction near U.S. 75 Highway and Third Street in Holton, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

Deputies arrested the passenger of the vehicle, Justin Wayne Nidiffer, 40, of Bonner Springs, on a Wyandotte County, Kansas warrant for possession of methamphetamine.

Deputies also found illicit contraband in his possession, and he was booked into jail on requested charges that include possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia.
