HUTCHINSON— Formal Charges have been filed against a Hutchinson man who was arrested after an altercation with a woman May 9.

Charges against 56-year-old Thomas Lee Boyd include one count of kidnapping and one count of stalking. Depending on his past criminal history, he could be facing as many as 20 years in prison if he is tried and convicted of the kidnapping charge.

Boyd allegedly got into a confrontation with the woman after following her in a vehicle May 9.

Boyd is still being held in the Reno County Correctional Facility on a bond of $125,000.
