
SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating a fatal accident have made an arrest and identified the victim as 24-year-old Fernando Arambula of Wichita.
Just after 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to an injury accident at Kellogg and Eisenhower Parkway in Wichita, according to Officer Charley Davidson.
Investigators learned a 2006 Honda CRX driven by Arambula was eastbound on Kellogg and clipped the rear-end of a 2002 Acura RSX driven by Abel Olivarez, 24, of Wichita.

Arambula lost control of the Honda and the vehicle struck the base of the Eisenhower bridge crossing Kellogg.
Upon arrival, officers located Arambula, who had been ejected from his vehicle in critical condition. EMS transported him to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police contacted Olivarez at the the scene and later booked him into jail on a requested charge of driving under the influence, according to Davidson.
