MIAMI COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 4:30p.m. Wednesday in Miami County.

The sheriff's office reported a 2018 Dodge Charger was eastbound on 223rd Street at 3rd Street in Bucyrus.

The driver lost control as the car traveled over the railroad tracks and into the south ditch. The car went airborne across 3rd Street, struck a tree and the roof of home at 101 South 3rd Street. The car landed on its side in the backyard of the home and the driver was trapped inside.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.&nbsp;Two people were inside the home, but were uninjured. The sheriff's office reported the driver may have been speeding.&nbsp; Officials have not released the driver's name.
