SHAWNE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating recent organized retail thefts at businesses in Topeka have and cautioned holiday shoppers, according to a social media report from police.
Investigators have seen several incidents where a woman distracts an older or inattentive shopper, while a man steals from them.
Police released photos of individuals believed to be involved in these thefts. Please be aware of your surroundings and keep your wallets and purses on you, or out of sight when shopping.
