MONTGOMERY COUNTY —One person died in accident just after 3:30a.m. Saturday in Montgomery County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Hinman, Dakota Ray Hinman, 34, Parsons, was westbound on County Road 2800. The driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic at U.S. 169. A northbound 2025 Freightliner semi driven by Said Bouchelarm, 43, Lenexa, struck the pickup on the driver's side.
Hinman was pronounced dead at the scene. Bouchelarm was not transported for treatment. Hinman was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
