FORD COUNTY—Two people died in an accident just after 2a.m. Friday in Ford County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Ford F350 driven by Chaten Patrick Tasset, 21, Spearville, was southbound on 126 Road just south of Jewell Road.
The pickup entered the east ditch, returned to the the roadway, entered the west ditch, rolled and came to rest on its top.
Tasset and a passenger identified as Hadley Garrett Fisher, 19, Spearville, were pronounced dead at the scene.
EMS transported a second passenger Isaac Juan Melendez, 20, Spearville, to St. Catherine's Hospital. Tasset and Fisher were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
