SALINE COUNTY —A Kansas man died in an accident just after 11p.m. Saturday east of Salina.
A 2000 Ford F150 driven by Chris Engle, 51, of Salina, was westbound on E. Magnolia Road just west of South Cunningham Road, according to Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan.
The pickup traveled off the south side of the road and through two fences before launching over the roadway and striking a culvert on the north side.
Engle was pronounced dead at the scene, Soldan said. He had been properly restrained and there were no signs of impairment, Soldan added.
The pickup, owned by BlueLine Remodeling and Contracting, sustained substantial damage and was towed from the scene. Engle was an employee of BlueLine, according to Soldan.
