Police capture Kansas felon wanted for alleged robberies

FINNEY COUNTY —A Kansas felon wanted in connection to two robberies that occurred on June 18 in Garden City is in custody, according to Garden City Police. 

On Monday morning Carlos Macias, Jr, 31, was taken into custody in Liberal.

 He has previous convictions for aggravated battery and endangering a child, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.

FINNEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a series of robberies in southwest Kansas and asking the public for help to locate 31-year-old  Carlos Macias Jr., according to a media release from Garden City Police.

Macias Jr. is wanted in connection with several robberies that occurred in Garden City on June 18.

Macias Jr. is known to drive a tan 2001 Dodge Ram pickup with a Kansas temporary tag D619275.  He has previous convictions for aggravated battery and endangering a child, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
