Manhattan’s favorite winter activity, indoor ice skating, returns for another exciting season on November 20, 2020.
The rink at Wefald Pavilion in City Park opens its doors at 4:00p.m. to advance ticket holders only.
Ice skating will look a little different this season in order to reduce crowding and encourage physical distancing. Tickets are sold in two-hour session time blocks and must be purchased in advance online at www.mhkprd.com/register. Tickets may also be purchased by calling 785-587-2757, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Session times are listed for each day online at www.mhkprd.com/icerink. Each session is limited to only 47 participants.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, skating lessons and facility rentals will not be offered this season. Masks will be required at all times for patrons and staff while inside the rink. Only ticketed participants will be allowed access to the ice rink; spectators will not be allowed.
Rink hours are from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Saturday, and 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday. USD 383 school holidays. Skating admission is $3.50 per person and $3.50 for skate rentals.
Since 2010, the indoor skating rink has served Manhattan residents and guests during the winter season. The skating season is expected to last until February 2021.
