Suspects from Illinois remain jailed in Kansas after 3-county chase

KINGMAN COUNTY — Two suspects involved in a three county chase over the weekend remain jailed in Kingman County, according to online jail records.

Just before 6:30p.m. Sunday, authorities in Kingman County learned of a chase coming into their county from Pratt County, according to Sheriff Brent Wood.

The suspects had fled a Kansas Highway Patrol attempted traffic stop for alleged reckless driving in Kiowa County on U.S. 54, east of Greensburg.

A Kingman County Sheriff's deputy located the vehicle, which continued to flee.

The suspect vehicle struck a Kingman County Sheriff's Office vehicle in an attempt to elude capture. Both the suspect vehicle and a Kingman County Sheriff's vehicle caught fire during the pursuit. 

One suspect, later identified as 23-year-old Graham Green was caught around 6:52 p.m. Authorities caught the second suspect 23-year-old Graesen Jackson was caught around 8:05 p.m. Both men are from Illinois.

Both suspects received treatment in Kingman and then were transferred to Via Christi St. Francis before being released to law enforcement. The deputy was checked out by medical personnel at the Kingman Health Center and released.
