JUNCTION CITY, Kan. – Geary County Schools USD 475 announced a district record 2,808 students from throughout the district have earned the Thrive Award for their work during the first semester of the 2024-25 school year.

“I am incredibly proud of all of our students who were able to receive this honor for their hard work in the classroom this fall. It is truly a testament to how hard our teachers and staff have been working this school year to make a difference,” said Dr. Reginald Eggleston, USD 475 Superintendent of Schools.

Overall, USD 475 had 1,853 students receive the Thrive Award at its elementary schools, while 955 students were honored at the secondary level.
