Beginning Monday, Jan. 29, the Kansas Department of Transportation will begin work to replace the bridge on K-4 in Morris County. The bridge is located about 2.5 miles south of White City and 1 mile north of K-149.

KDOT said motorists will be directed to detour on K-149, U.S. 56 and K-177

King Construction Company Inc. and Subsidiaries of Hesston will be the prime contractor and have scheduled this $1.47 million project to be completed by September 2024, weather permitting.
