Geary County Agricultural and Natural Resources Extension Agent is moving to a new job

Geary County Agricultural and Natural Resources Extension Agent Kyler Langvardt is stepping down. His final day on the job will be May 8. " I really appreciate the oppotunity I had to meet so many folks and come back home."

Langvardt has been offered a position with Kansas Farm Bureau with their Foundation for Agriculture as manager of that program." That will include scholarships, grants plus ag education efforts across the state, and he will also be based in Manhattan. 

Langvardt has been employed as the extension agent for approximately three and a half years.

He plans to continue volunteering at some events in the future.
