Geary County Commissioners received a report Monday on the 2023 activities of Konza Prairie Community Health Center.
CEO Dani Hallgren said Konza served 13,001 patients in 2023, up five percent from 2022 with most of the increase on the medical side. There are also a lot of dental patients.
Overall visits were up about nine percent and there was employment growth of 9.6%.
Konza is in the second phase of American Rescue Plan funding renovation project. Office space is being added to the front medical reception area.
