
Winds are expected to calm Monday evening in the Junction City-Manhattan area and more wintry weather is likely on the way this week, the National Weather Service in Topeka said.
The high temperature Monday and Tuesday is expected to be 60 degrees, with overnight lows at the freezing point.
The NWS predicted snow will arrive after midnight Wednesday, noting there is a 60 percent chance of snow and blustery conditions into Thursday night.
